Effective October 1, 2024, there will be a price increase for certain Dynamics 365 SKUs (Dynamics 365 Business Central will remain unchanged). This increase will affect both existing and new customers. In this article, we will share the impact of this change and why Microsoft is updating the prices.
Why is Microsoft increasing the prices?
This price update marks the first increase by Microsoft in the past five years, with the exception of the price adjustment due to the dollar conversion in 2023. Microsoft is updating the pricing to reflect the value and innovation that it has delivered over the past five years to meet the changing needs of customers. Examples of these are updates for AI and automation (with Copilot as the biggest introduction), optimized business processes, unified data, and improved insights & analytics.
What is the impact on my Microsoft license?
The price increase will go into effect on October 1, 2024. If you are a Cegeka customer, then your Account Manager will contact you soon to discuss the impact of this price increase and work with you to find the most economically viable solution.
