Are you a driven professional who has experience with Microsoft D365 F&O solutions? Our Dynamics Business Solutions division continues to grow strongly and expands its activities. As a result, we are looking for a driven Finance Consultant D365 F&O to expand our team.  In the run-up to the go-live, you will be introduced to the customer and help them implement F&O based on our internal Cegeka Sure Value methodology. Then, as a Finance Consultant, you become the support for this client. They can come to you with their problems, and you know how to help them time and time again. When you recognize a trend in this, you make this negotiable and advise the customer on how these problems can best be prevented in the future.  Where other colleagues mainly focus on the initial go-live, you form a long-term relationship with the customer and play a crucial role in the further development of F&O. To achieve this, you have frequent contact with the customers and keep a close eye on both the market and Microsoft’s latest developments. The ultimate goal is to grow into a Trusted Advisor. Internally, you share information with your colleagues to assess whether we can also be of added value to other customers. Finally, based on the customer questions, you think about new products and / or services that we can offer.

  • Your work consists of analyzing, writing requirements, designing new functionalities, and resolving incidents, answering questions, and supervising further development. Together with the PM, you will ensure an adequate follow-up of the tasks and tickets. 
  • In the field of further development, it’s your task to make a good inventory of the needs and to translate them into suitable solutions in consultation with the Solution Architect. When the customer agrees, you guide the implementation and testing of the desired adjustments. Finally, you help when customers need on-site or standby support to ensure continuity. You do all this in good cooperation with your colleagues from our organization.
  • Work with the Finance domain within D365 F&O and Dynamics AX. The focus of the consulting activities is in the areas of financial accounting, controlling, budgeting and cost accounting. 
  • Handle Sub-processes such as: Procure to Pay Process, Order to Cash Process. 
  • Be involved in Solution Design – Configuration & Testing of these processes. 
  • Make effective use of your knowledge of business processes in the areas of financial accounting, controlling, budgeting, and cost accounting. 
  • Analyze, consult, and further develop the customer's business processes. 
  • Follow-up inquiries from receipt to solution, in direct cooperation with the customer. 
  • Collaborate with the software development team to come up with custom solutions. 

What you need to succeed:

  • A completed Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree. 
  • At least 2 years of proven experience with D365 F&O and Dynamics AX. During this period, you have been involved in several implementations as a consultant or in a similar role. 
  • You have a result-oriented mindset, strong process thinking and good analytical skills. 
  • You are self-aware and you have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with conflict. 
  • You have a great knowledge of English. 
  • You are resilient, able to learn and work in a team and in a dynamic environment. 
  • You take responsibility and pride in your work. 
  • Ideally, you have several years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector (in a consulting firm or on the client’s side). 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Fundamentals) and/ or document management systems such as Advanced forms or Bottomline Transform - advantage. 
  • Valid Microsoft certifications – advantage.
