Infrastructure Architect

Do you keep going until you find that little bit extra that leads to excellent customer satisfaction?We are looking for a Technical Architect to join our customer facing team whose mission is to deliver tailored projects and solutions requested by our customers as well as supporting the customer core team in continuously improving the framework of service delivery and day-by-day management of IT infrastructures. The team spans across four countries, Romania, Greece, Belgium and the Netherlands and collaborates as well with customer specific IT Infrastructure teams and third parties to ensure that the quality of the services provided is at the highest level. As a member of the team, you will work closely with account management, service delivery management and the lead architects to develop and implement the infrastructure vision of the customer into a service that delivers within operational SLAs and cost expectancy. Our service delivery model follows the ITIL framework, which means that we respect specific standards for the procedures and operational flows we have in place, which are implemented corporate-wide. From a governance perspective, our management team ensures recurrent 1to1 and team meetings are organized to support both the growth and development of our team members, as well as to provide transparency and context for the business decisions and overall direction.

• You are part of the customer team in which you play a key role regarding the technical IT infrastructure of the customer
• Together with the account manager, service delivery manager and lead architect, develop and translate the vision over the IT Infrastructure into a service that takes costs and operational SLAs into account
• Cegeka also calls on external partners for specific parts of the service. As a Technical Architect, you also help translate the architectural vision into operational activities, so that we can ensure our services.
• Seamless integration of the workplace components into the customer's entire IT landscape is indispensable. Cegeka then integrates with the customer's building blocks and the IT Infrastructure of other service providers
• You are the technical conscience of the customer's IT environment. You monitor the overview and set out the blueprint of the IT infrastructure
• You cover a wide range of projects and technical areas for our customers
• You think along with the customer, draw up solutions and ensure that the technical design exceeds expectations
• You ensure that the customer does not have to worry about his IT environment by providing him with a stable and innovative IT infrastructure
• You are a connector between different disciplines and departments, and you ensure cooperation and the sharing of knowledge
• You support the presales architect substantively during the preparation of quotations for new opportunities

• You have up to 1-2 years of experience in a similar position (architect or project engineer)
• Microsoft Windows Server Platforms (2012 / 2016 / 2018/ 2022) and Linux/Unix Operating System have no secrets for you, especially when it comes to troubleshooting corelated areas such as Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File & Printing, Storage Spaces, Clustering Services, Certification Authority, Terminal Services; this can also be easily observed given your expert understanding of server hardware fundamentals
• You feel very comfortable in working with WSUS and SCCM
• You get satisfaction from working with Azure (Including Azure Active Directory and AD Connect) and AWS IaaS & PaaS solutions, as a true cloud-solutions embracer
• Knowing the importance of flowless solutions in the modern workplaces, you have become an expert on Digital Workplaces, having in-depth knowledge on Anywhere 365, Microsoft 365 E5 Components (Identity, Communication & Collaboration, Device Management and Security), SIEM/SOC based on Azure Sentinel, DMARC analyzer, Workplace concepts such as Windows Hello for Business, (Hybrid) Azure AD Join, Bitlocker, Microsoft Autopilot or Microsoft Intune
• Given your background, you demonstrate very good knowledge with virtualization platforms (ESXi & Hyper-V), Microsoft SQL Server, enterprise class storage subsystems, enterprise class backup systems, enterprise class Antivirus products, enterprise Antispam solutions, networking concepts but also with Microsoft Exchange on-premise and Microsoft SharePoint on-premise solutions
• You use your very good PowerShell & VBS knowledge for continuous improvement activities
• Thanks to your overarching knowledge of the technical infrastructure, you can efficiently support the customer by making continuous improvements; for this, you also make good use of your eye for detail and thoroughness
• You have a strong desire to adopt new technologies and keep the pace with an ever growing customer and technology base
• You have a positive mindset and you always aim to contribute to both yours and your Team’s development on all areas
• Communicating in English comes natural to you, being fluent in writing and speaking as well
• Nice to have:  Knowledge of PKI Infrastructure (including NDES), Delegate365, Microsoft MOF, ITIL Framework & Basic project management knowledge, TOGAF certification
