Are you a specialist in end-to-end process monitoring, with a passion for observability, business dashboarding, and data modeling? You collaborate with stakeholders to understand processes and identify steps to measure business and operational KPIs. You define which data gets collected and centralized.
You manage the various data domains on the data platform and are responsible for changes to the data model.
You implement monitoring to continuously track processes, gathering execution metrics (e.g., error rates, efficiency gains) and alerting if the desired outcome is not met.
You generate business insights and leverage multiple models to predict outcomes and facilitate pro-active alerting.
You design business dashboards to visualize processes and initiate corrective actions to enable data-driven decisions in real-time.
You troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated workflows to minimize downtime and disruptions
You identify opportunities to optimize workflows or scale processes to other domains or departments.
You document data ingestion, data models, and data flows • You are familiar with cloud and on-premise data platforms: Azure databases, Databricks, Azure Data Fabric, Cubes, SSIS, PowerBI, Prometheus, Grafana.
What you need to succeed:
Experience in observability, DataOps/Data Engineering, infrastructure monitoring, or a related role.
Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana) for server load, health, and performance metrics.
Strong experience building and maintaining dashboards for infrastructure and application monitoring.
Hands-on expertise with log aggregation and analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).
Knowledge of cloud and on-premise platforms: Azure databases, Databricks, Azure Data Fabric, PowerBI.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and data manipulation.
Experience with APM tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace) and ETL processes (e.g., SSIS).
Understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure health metrics (e.g., CPU, memory, disk usage, latency).
