Wintel DevOps Engineer - Powershell focused

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our Operations team, focusing on managing infrastructure components and applications, including Windows, Linux, and Jenkins.

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily management of our infrastructure.
  • Updates & Customizations: Implement necessary updates, customizations, and changes to ensure system performance and security.
  • New Implementations: Test, implement, and document new applications, services, and processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers and fellow Operations Team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Service Management: Co-manage and maintain services based on Windows Server.
  • Server Automation: Set up and manage Windows servers with fully automated processes via Jenkins.
  • System Patching: Ensure automatic system patching using Jenkins/WSUS.
  • Pipeline Design: Design and maintain Jenkins pipelines for Continuous Integration and automate deployments using Python/PowerShell scripts.
  • Automated Testing: Integrate automated testing into the Continuous Delivery process to ensure high-quality deployments.
  • Customer Support: Provide 2nd-line support for end-user incidents to minimize interruptions to business operations.

What you need to succeed:

  • Interest in Emerging Technologies: A strong desire to stay updated on new technologies and contribute to building the foundation of our Cegeka PAM environment.
  • DevOps Focus: Specialize in DevOps practices, particularly in managing a Windows Server environment.
  • Automation & CI/CD: Design, implement, and manage automation tools for development, deployment, and management processes. This includes setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all systems comply with security and regulatory guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Scripting: Experience with Python and PowerShell is highly valued.
  • Central Management Tools: Familiarity with tools like Azure Arc or Puppet for centralized Windows management is a plus.
