  • As Account Manager, you will build long-term relationships with our existing clients. Your main task is to maintain and renew customer contacts to ensure that contracts are continuously renewed and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • You will also play a crucial role in up- and cross-selling where possible and expand the customer portfolio. You spend most of your time maintaining existing customer relationships, but you also actively work on developing and expanding the customer portfolio within the European Institutions.
  • You translate your sales goals into a concrete account plan and execute the plan.
  • You take the lead in developing and drafting quotations and answering specifications, together with the team. 
  • You are also responsible for closing contracts with customers and further development of your network at a strategic level.

What you need to succeed:

  • A strong networker with extensive experience in building lasting new customer relationships.
  • A master's degree (or similar experience) and 6-8 years of practical experience in the ICT world. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the ICT market and demonstrable sales experience in this sector. 
  • Knowledge of European institutions and international organisations is a plus or a strong interest in this environment.
  • Great empathy for customer needs and a creative and customer-oriented approach.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction and ensuring Cegeka is seen as the ideal IT provider. Every client must be a reference for Cegeka.
  • Result-oriented, accurate, independent, stress-resistant, motivated and flexible.
  • Team player with extensive negotiation skills.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English and you can express yourself fluently in French.
