To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a hands-on business controller. We are looking for an experienced professional, who stands firmly in his/her shoes and above all is an excellent sparring partner for the business. 

  • You are the financial partner of choice for your business line. You play an active role in the realization of the business line's objectives by providing timely and accurate monthly reports. You monitor the financial KPIs of the projects, the profitability of the investments made and you guide the business when, if necessary, adjustments need to be made.
  • In addition, you participate in the management meetings of the division, where you clearly report and explain the analysis of the monthly figures.
  • Furthermore, you help with further process improvement and digitalization within the (finance) organization.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a Master's degree in Economics or Commercial Engineering;
  • You have 5 to 7 years of financial experience: preferably 3-5 years as auditor and a first experience as controller. 
  • You speak fluent Dutch and English.
  • You have knowledge of: Project reporting - Costing - Budgeting & Forecasting - Microsoft Excel & PowerBI - an ERP environment;
  • You have affinity with the ICT sector; 
  • You are adept at stakeholder management, can easily switch within various levels within the organization;
  • You have strong analytical skills, work securely and accurately and have good presentation skills;
  • You are able to see the bigger picture and set the right priorities;
  • You are confident and persuasive;
  • For this position the location is Hasselt but you are willing to travel to other Cegeka locations.
