Within our organization, we aim to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our security solutions by setting up a comprehensive test lab using the FortiNet ecosystem. This internship assignment focuses on designing, implementing, and automating a test environment to optimize the deployment of FortiNet solutions.
You will set up a test lab with the FortiNet ecosystem that allows realistic simulations of network and security scenarios.
You will develop an automated deployment process for the FortiNet ecosystem within the test environment.
You will actively attempt to disrupt various aspects of the test environment.
You will take steps to restore the test environment and recover normal functionality.
You will document all errors, the steps taken to resolve them, and the outcomes.
You will develop and execute practical network tests based on recovery experiences.
You will compile a detailed report on each disruption and recovery action, including the methodology, identified errors, and troubleshooting techniques used.
You will write recommendations for future network tests and recovery plans, best practices, etc.
What you need to succeed:
Are you studying for a bachelor's in Applied Informatics or a master's in Computer Science? Check!
You have a passion for networking and security.
You have basic knowledge of system and network management.
You are highly motivated to start this challenging internship.
