Do you have a passion for networking? Want to learn how to work with Jenkins? Read on! You will have the opportunity to engage with our team of Network Automation and DevOps Engineers.
During this internship, you will develop a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline that integrates various network automation tasks, including Cisco ACI-related tasks, firewall implementations, router configurations, and firewall rule implementations, into a seamless, automated process for creating new network environments. Currently, these tasks are triggered separately by our network engineers. This pipeline aims to centralize implementations for easier status monitoring and to enable re-triggering of specific phases in case of issues.
You will work with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Cisco ACI for network configuration and automation.
You will learn to script pipelines in Jenkins.
Additionally, you will design and implement Jenkins pipelines that combine existing network automation tasks and ensure smooth and efficient execution.
You will integrate automated builds, error handling, and notifications into the pipeline to improve functionality and reliability.
You will develop automated tests to ensure network configurations are correct and perform end-to-end testing.
What you need to succeed:
Are you studying for a Bachelor's in Applied Computer Science/Electronics-ICT or a Master's in Computer Science? Perfect!
Interested in networking? Check!
You have a basic knowledge of Jenkins and network technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, and/or Cisco.
You enjoy working with real experts and learning something new every day.
