Do you have people management experience within IT Infrastructure ? Do you enjoy supporting people in their professional growth?

  • You will lead a team of service delivery managers in Belgium/Romania/Greece (+/- 40), ensuring a stimulating and collaborative work environment.
  • You are responsible for the daily coordination of the team: resource planning (forecasting, staffing, allocation), meeting deadlines, overseeing the general operating principles etc. within the general policies, achieving the departmental objectives, ...
  • You are responsible for the coaching, evaluation and performance interviews.
  • You attach great importance to the development and optimal functioning of the team.
  • You act as a sparring partner and mentor for the service delivery management team, stimulating their professional growth and supporting them in realizing their potential.
  • You are the one who ensures that your team correctly monitors the service delivery to customers and adjusts where necessary.
  • You help ensure customer satisfaction and act as an escalation point when necessary.
  • You lead the emergency response team in case of global incidents.
  • You create a budget for the team and follow it closely.
  • You analyze existing processes within your department and initiate improvement and renewal projects.
  • You communicate fluently and effectively with both internal/external stakeholders at all levels of an organization to manage needs and expectations.

What you need to succeed:

  • We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, motivate and coach a team.
  • You have at least 5-10 years of people-management experience in IT (service management or IT infrastructure projects).
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You are result-oriented with a proactive attitude and can work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Experience with crisis management is a plus.
  • Your social skills, flexibility and commitment enable you to gain the trust of the team and customers.
  • You know how to use available resources optimally.
  • You have strong financial insight and experience in actively managing financial results. 
  • You are able to process large amounts of information quickly and draw the right conclusions.
  • You can oversee and understand the bigger picture.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.
  • You feel at home in Cegeka's result-oriented, no-nonsense approach.
  • You mainly work from our office in Hasselt in combination with working from home.
  • You are willing to travel regularly to customers and occasionally internationally.
