Would you like to be part of the Cegeka Finance Team? This may be your chance! We are currently looking for a Project Controller. As Finance Project Controller you are responsible for assessing and setting up financial project management and invoicing. Herein you monitor compliance with internal procedures and guidelines. You are a member of the project team and will periodically perform analyses and prepare reports.

  • What does the job entail?
  • You are responsible for efficient and accurate financial project management 
  • You ensure the financial progress of the individual projects and perform the necessary analyses
  • You take care of the invoicing and administrative follow-up of the projects (e.g. project creation, follow-up registration of hours, ...)
  • You ensure that the business follows internal procedures and guidelines regarding projects 
  • For assigned projects, as Project Controller you are a member of the project team.
  • You will perform monthly project analyses and prepare project reports. You proactively share conclusions about these.
  • You work closely with the business and other colleagues and report to the team lead project controlling.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a strong economic or financial background (TEW, Commercial Sciences...) 
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in Audit or Controlling.
  • You have experience within project-based organizations. Experience within the IT sector is a plus.
  • You have experience in bringing structure and optimizing administrative business processes in cooperation with the business.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and reporting tools is a must. 
  • You are proactive and have strong analytical skills.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and can-do attitude.
  • You are positive, energetic, driven and a team player.
  • You have an eye for innovation and take initiative.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Your workplace is at Corda Campus (Hasselt) in combination with hybrid working.
