  • You are responsible for the execution of projects at our clients. You will primarily ensure that projects are realized within the agreed scope, budget and time. In doing so, you monitor and report on all aspects of the project so that it meets organizational requirements, methodology and quality standards.
  • You are the contact person the client. You translate expectations into a project plan with clear objectives that are approved by the steering committee. You organize the project kick-off and ensure that all employees and stakeholders are informed and aligned with the project plan.
  • During the project you motivate and guide the project staff towards the objectives to be achieved. You do this through regular project evaluations and feedback meetings. You advise the client throughout the project and take the lead in internal and external project meetings. You identify and manage project risks, bottlenecks and changes. You continuously update the project plan, keeping it up to date. For this you consistently apply Cegeka's project methodology.
  • Within the project you work intensively with the Solution architect, he/she is (ultimately) responsible for the substantive solution for the client.
  • As project manager you manage various Data & AI projects in which the lead time and project pressure can vary.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least several years of relevant experience as a Project Manager, preferably within the Data Intelligence world and this domain fascinates you extremely. Data is your passion.
  • In addition, you have work experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Agile Scrum knowledge and experience is a strong plus. PMI, Prince2, ITIL certification are additional pluses.
  • Through your subject knowledge, social and communication skills, flexibility and commitment you manage to gain the trust of our clients.
  • You have a problem-solving ability, analytical mindset. You are eager to learn and flexible and have an independent and collegial attitude.
  • You have strong leadership skills to manage your teams.
  • You immediately feel at home in Cegeka's result-oriented, no-nonsense approach.
  • You have a perfect command of Dutch and English. French is a plus.
  • You will work according to our hybrid employment policy: from the Cegeka office near where you live (Ghent, Hasselt, Antwerp or Leuven), combined with working from home and being present at the client's office. Our customers are spread across Flanders (mainly in the Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels region): for workshops and important meetings you will be on site at the customer.
