For one of our clients, who is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization in Flanders, committed to innovation and excellence, we are looking for a Senior Storage Architect and Engineer, with a specialization in HPE Primera, HPE Alletra and Brocade SAN solutions. 

  • You serve as the primary design authority for HPE storage solutions and Brocade SAN network, providing expertise in system architecture and design
  • You lead the development and execution of storage strategies aligned with the business goals
  • You actively participate in storage engineering tasks, including configuration, installation, and maintenance of HPE SAN storage systems and the SAN network
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement storage solutions that meet the performance, capacity, and availability requirements and with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align the storage solutions with the overall IT strategies
  • You conduct in-depth performance analysis, tuning, and optimization of HPE storage systems and the SAN network
  • You implement and oversee best practices for maximizing storage efficiency, performance and reliability
  • You assess the current and future storage needs, conducting capacity planning and implementing scalable storage solutions to support business growth
  • You establish and enforce security measures for storage systems to ensure data integrity and compliance with the industry standards and regulations
  • You generate regular reports on storage system performance, health and utilization
  • You participate in the standby rotation schedule
  • You create and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage architectures, configurations and procedures
  • You provide training and coaching to other team members, fostering skill development.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 6 years experience in a similar position
  • You have a proven experience as a Storage Architect with a strong focus on HPE storage solutions and storage networking
  • You have extensive hands-on experience in storage engineering tasks, including configuration, deployment, troubleshooting and Hpe Primera/Alletra technologies
  • You have a lot of experience with Brocade SAN technology and its concepts 
  • You have a good knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • You have high analytical and problem solving skills 
  • A strong desire to work in a collaborative environment and team spirit are present
  • You take initiative
  • You speak and write Dutch and English very fluently
  • You work from home in combination with our office in Hasselt and at the customer's location.
