Can you describe your role as a Storage Engineer?
"I am Ciprian Bobirsc, a member of the Storage team since April 2019. Besides day-to-day activities, I am the co-SME for Dell EMC PowerMax, HPE Primera, and HPE MSA storage technologies."
What is the team atmosphere like?
"We are a strong team focused on offering high-standard services in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. We support each other during stressful times, and communication, including sharing jokes and advice, is key."
What do you enjoy most about your role?
"I enjoy working with knowledgeable engineers and the variety of tasks. My work includes L3 support, engineering tasks, patch management, and updating documentation."
What does a non-customer-facing role mean for a Storage Engineer?
"Typically, a storage engineer does not interact directly with customers. However, in rare cases, we may participate in meetings involving client representatives."
How is work-life balance maintained in the team?
"We have flexibility in work location and hours, support from managers, and the option to reschedule tasks outside business hours, ensuring a balanced life at work and home."
