Cegeka launches Continuous Security Advisory Framework (CSAF)

The road to Cyber Resilience

In recent years, Cegeka has been committed to shifting the debate from ‘cybersecurity’ to ‘cyber resilience’. “We want to emphasize that security is not only a technical issue but also has a significant business impact,” Wynants explains. With the current challenges, NIS2 regulations, and increasing threats, organizations are becoming more aware of the importance of cyber resilience. However, the right resources and tools are not always available. “With our Continuous Security Advisory Framework, we offer a solution to organizations by providing the right resources and tools in an accessible way. It is a modular and scalable framework that allows organizations to select and customize the right modules and services for their size and specific needs.”

“We always start with the core: security measures, security maturity, strategy, and the development of a security roadmap. This already creates a solid foundation for organizations to build on. Depending on their specific needs, they can add additional modules such as threat assessment, incident readiness, identity, and access management, and more,” says Bart Van den Branden, Product Manager of CSAF at Cegeka.

Continuous process

CSAF is much more than a one-time assessment or consulting assignment. It’s a dynamic framework that helps organizations stay on top of the evolving threat landscape and take the right actions. “There’s a reason we put the word ‘continuous’ in CSAF. Cyber resilience is not a static state,” Van den Branden emphasizes. "Just as the threat landscape changes and attackers become more sophisticated, we need to evolve as well. It’s a continuous process of adaptation and improvement. This is why we refer to CSAF as our ‘CISO Office-as-a-Service’. Rather than pure consulting in the form of ‘CISO as a service’, we offer a complete office and service which is flexibly assigned to the right experts with the necessary competences based on an organization’s needs.

A complete view of the IT landscape in one single platform

CSAF will also integrate with the previously launched Security Observability Dashboard within Horizon, Cegeka’s digital customer engagement platform. “It is essential that we help our customers gain insight into their entire IT landscape, including its security posture,” Wynants adds. “By integrating CSAF into Horizon, we offer organizations an intuitive and, above all, measurable way to gain insights and take steps towards cyber resilience.”
