Field Service: agent* to help schedule work orders

Within Field Service, it is now possible to use an agent* to help with scheduling work orders. This task, which combines a lot of considerations and variables that can change overtime, can be fully taken over by AI. The agent will boost the productivity of the scheduler and maximize the business objective.

*Microsoft is revolutionizing business operations by introducing autonomous agents in Dynamics 365, helping organizations move from traditional, manual workflows to AI-driven processes. These agents are designed to simplify operations and deliver significant value across domains.

Project Operations

Optimize processes with agent-led time, expense, and approvals

Project Operations also introduces various agents in this release. These agents utilize input from Outlook and Teams and can assist with any task that a consultant typically doesn’t want to spend time on. Think, for instance, of tracking hours, approval processes, and creating expense reports.

Build you WBS faster

Another handy feature simplifies the creation of new Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). After all, nobody likes to start from scratch and type everything over. Thanks to this optimization, you can create analogous scope definitions, standardize your schedules, and prepare work in Microsoft project. This saves a significant amount of manual effort and time.

Use stock on resource-intensive projects

Finally, there is a new feature that leverages inventory items for projects with high resource demands. This feature enables project managers to handle projects requiring inventoried products more efficiently. They gain insight into inventory across different sites and warehouse locations, allowing them to estimate, procure, and manage the usage of these products effectively.
