Solution Architect Oracle Technologies

As a Solution Architect specializing in Oracle Technologies, you will play a key role in shaping technology roadmaps, integrating business needs with market trends, and advising on infrastructure strategies.

• Technology Roadmap Development: Develop and present Oracle technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and product evolution.
• Solution Integration: Design feasible solutions by integrating business requirements with vendor offerings.
• Strategic Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor for customers and architects, providing guidance on optimal infrastructure architecture.
• Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends to adapt technology roadmaps, ensuring the use of the latest innovations.
• Solution Leadership: Lead the creation and optimization of solutions to maintain and enhance market position.
• Sales Support: Support the sales team by addressing technical possibilities and aiding in sales cases.
• Implementation Oversight: Monitor implementations and use cases, suggesting improvements and strategies to enhance the product portfolio.
• Strategic Formulation: Formulate strategic investment choices and contribute to budget planning aligned with global strategies.
• Vision Sharing: Communicate a compelling vision to Design Authorities and align on roadmap planning.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks, propose solutions, and escalate issues to ensure quality delivery.
• Compliance Supervision: Ensure new products and services comply with legal and security regulations.

• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• In the Oracle Technology domain, you are knowledgeable about and closely follow their product stack across various levels. This includes hardware and engineered systems, database technology, as well as relevant middleware and application software. 
• You are well-versed in these solutions within private, public, and hybrid cloud contexts.
• You are familiar with the strategic trends, roadmaps, and expected evolutions of Oracle Corporation and you are able to list the main advantages and limitations of most of them.   You have strong communication and presentation skills.   You have a hands-on and proactive mindset.   You are able to work autonomously but also in close cooperation with the Design Authorities, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Product Managers, Sales, engineers.
• You are able to demonstrate a proven track record of your involvement in previous implementations in multiple environments concerning many of the below tags: #EXADATA, #EXACC, #ZFS, #RA23, #PCA, #OC3, #OLVM, #ORACLE LINUX, #ORACLE DATABASE, #MYSQL, #OEM, #EBS, #WEBLOGIC, #ODI, #GOLDEN GATE, #OCI.
• You have a master degree.
• You speak and write fluently English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Depending on where you live, you can work in our offices in The Netherlands, Hasselt, Leuven, Ghent or Antwerp in combination with working from home and visiting customers.
