For several clients we are still looking for a Support Engineer who can really make a difference and act as a ambassador card for Cegeka.

  • You solve users' problems and always try to translate these into the most useful solution for the end user. You immerse yourself in the end user and try to help him/her as much as possible by thinking along with him/her. This can be via the onsite helpdesk or other channels (mail/telephony).
  • You enjoy making workstations ready for use, installing software, arranging authorizations, solving hardware problems and performing periodic maintenance on IT systems.
  • You are responsible for accepting, registering, logging, following up and closing calls.
  • You work closely with our remote service desk, together you follow up on ticket queues and switch smoothly between incidents and requests. Knowledge of ITIL is therefore a plus.
  • Throughout the week you work in an onsite team of 3 people according to a shift system of early, day and late. (07H00 - 15H30, 08H30 - 17H00, 10H30 - 19H00).
  • You catch leave from the team working on weekends sporadically. You will know this well in advance and is therefore 'plannable'.
  • You will be employed by our client in Zaventem, always on client site.
  • You are responsible for all company assets and will track/track this in the CMDB (Configuration Management Database).
  • In addition, you do so much but! This makes your job varied and fascinating!

What you need to succeed:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, or you have been working within the IT industry for a number of years.
  • Experience in a Service Desk environment.
  • During your career, you have built up knowledge and experience of Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Office 365, IMACD service (install, move, add, configure, delete), Ticketing (handling, creation, escalation) and creating/handling documentation, among others.
  • You are communicative and friendly, making users eager to come to you for answers to their questions.
  • You are proactive and analytically strong and know how to quickly reach solutions by connecting the right components.
  • You have a first experience in the field of planning as 'cooperating foreman'.
  • In stressful situations you manage to stay calm and alert.
  • Others describe you as a reliable person, who values punctuality and can communicate clearly!
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Speaking some French is nice to have.
  • You are in possession of a valid and active driver's license category B.
